The COVID-19 pandemic halted the world in 2020 and vaccination was crucial in containing it. Building trust in vaccination records was necessary for unlocking global barriers. The eGovernments Foundation developed DIVOC, an open-source platform to issue tamper-proof COVID-19 vaccination & test result certificates. The digitally signed QR code-based certificates were designed for verifications in low-to-no internet environments.
DIVOC vaccination certificate module, which went live in India in January 2021, has been adopted by countries across the globe including Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Jamaica, and Indonesia
DIVOC is also a DPGA listed public good and Digital Square approved (PATH) approved Global Goods Software.
We are happy to receive this recognition for our work and we are committed to make a positive impact on society. This recognition is a testament to the power of design in solving complex societal problems and creating sustainable products and experiences for #publicgood. On behalf of our partners and the entire DIVOC community we thank BW Business World for recognising our efforts, and congratulations to all the winners and participants at the Future of Design Awards 2023.
