Professor Sadagopan is the Founder Director of IIIT-Bangalore and has a distinguished academic career, having previously taught at IIT Kanpur and IIM Bangalore. A graduate of Madras University and Purdue University, USA, he has played a pivotal role in several transformational IT projects with significant social impact. His contributions include the development of the Railway Reservation System, RTGS, IMPS, Khajane, and State Data Center/Wide Area Network initiatives in various states.
