Build the tech vision and strategy: The Architect must work with the CTO and other executives to implement the technology strategy of eGov.

Set design principles, create reference architectures and make key tech choices: The Architect will define the key architectural principles and reference architecture that helps the mission to deliver on its strategy and plans. In making these choices he/she will need to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders – citizens, communities, governments and market actors. He/she will also be responsible for keeping up to date with emerging technologies and making the choices on tech building blocks.

Based on the vision for the mission/program, and a clear understanding of the platform needs, the platform architect has to:

  • Map out the components that will constitute platform solutions and how they are going to work together.
  • Promote architectural and development best practices. Have the ability to do API design, DB design etc.
  • Ensure projects are designed within approved architectural standards. Have deep knowledge of security concepts: various authentication, authorisation, auditing mechanisms; standards such as W3C and OWASP; ability to debug and identify performance issues.
  • Lead design reviews (including service design) and implement best design principles.
  • Provide technical leadership in all aspects of SDLC, including system analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to bring in a fresh perspective; generate imaginative ideas and approaches.

Mentor tech talent: The Architect will mentor the top tech talent within the organisation. In addition he/she will leverage their networks to attract talent, organise hackathons and related tech events to get volunteers and ethical hackers to contribute to the mission.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Knowledge Products and Partnerships Manager will:

  • Create and update the map of experts (individuals and organisations) and key stakeholders working on sanitation and related issues, including at think tanks, academic institutions, multilateral organisations, non-profits, foundations, and government entities.
  • Initiate and manage relationships with experts and key stakeholders, to improve eGov’s understanding of the sanitation sector, and to explore potential collaborations.
  • Draft well-researched presentations, briefings, memos etc. to share these perspectives with eGov and partner organizations.
  • Manage the co-creation of knowledge products at various stages of the Sanitation mission, including blue books, working papers, and design suggestions.
  • Manage the convening of experts and key stakeholders, as well as public consultations.
  • Assist cross-functional teams in the process of incorporating insights and perspectives from research and consultations into solution design.

This role’s mandate is to drive access to and impact of eGov’s Sanitation platform for citizens, towards the broader goal of achieving universal and safe sanitation coverage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Community Engagement Manager will:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the challenges of access to sanitation and related services from the point of view of underserved communities.
  • Directly gather on-ground feedback from citizens and community groups, including through surveys and community audits.
  • Draft well-researched presentations, briefings, memos etc. to share these perspectives with eGov and partner organizations.
  • Assist cross-functional teams in the process of incorporating insights and perspectives from research into solution design.

  • Manage the development of a Community Engagement Plan, to be operationalized as part of the Sanitation Mission rollout in any given site.

About the Role: 

Associate Program Manager / Program Manager will be responsible for managing the support and the implementation for multi-mission and multi-state egovernance program(s) in close association with the eGov leadership and associated ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:


●       Program Management: S(he) will be responsible for planning and managing the support and the implementation for smooth functioning of the program. Manage the delivery of all the workstreams – Product, Development, Testing etc. Keep a track of key milestones/deliverables and anticipate issues that need resolution. Be the first point to manage any client escalations. Ensure that the overall effort is on the path to success and call out potential threats and dangers, and drive resolution in a timely manner.

●       State Engagement: Liaison with the state implementation team and PMU to streamline operations on-ground, provide programmatic updates and provide guidance on next steps of the project. S(he) will be responsible for evangelising the program to a larger ecosystem for wider adoption.

●       Stakeholder/Relationship Management: Maintain relationships and communications with the stakeholders from the state (officials) and partner organisations. S(he) will be the first point of contact for major stakeholders in the engagement.

●       Product Solutioning: Understand key challenges of the end-user through primary and secondary research and build solution strategies with the product, engineering, delivery and testing team. Ensure on-ground implementation of the product with relevant feedback mechanisms in place.

●       Documentation: Prepare presentations, reports, articles, updates, notes etc. as and when require

  • 5 to 10 + years in IT with 3+ years’ experience managing complex ERP/CRM/egovernance project / program implementations. Prior experience in technology driven projects will be preferred.
  • A graduate degree in engineering or related field(s) required; post-graduate degree in management, engineering or related field(s) will be preferred.
  • IT consulting experience with expertise in Project Management Methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented in program planning & execution including scope & requirements management, collaboration with partners, communications plans, & risk management etc.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills (ability to communicate complex ideas in a meaningful way).
  • Excellent client relationship and expectation management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable leading without authority.
  • Rigorous Program Monitoring, Reporting & escalation to steering committee.

Your role would involve:

  • Writing articles, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, company anecdotes, promotional emails, website & app content and press releases, etc.
  • It would include all forms of content – short, long, conversational, listicles, script for video, podcasts, webinar presentations and promotional materials etc. based on the key objectives
  • Content style would be aligned with the content requirements for relevant audience group
  • Staying up-to-date with the ongoing social media trends as well information about the sector and the internal missions
  • Tracking and optimizing content performance across all channels (you need not be an expert in analytics, but an appreciation of data and the ability to fine tune content based on feedback is required)
  • Collaborating across teams to discuss and produce content, including research, as needed
  • Thinking strategically around content creation based on the target segment- Identify target audience’s needs and gaps in our content and recommend content strategy and build the content pipeline.
  • The written pieces must be well-researched using the right keywords and with the right style & tone

  • An experience of 5+ years with strong quality of content
  • A natural flair for writing with a love for the language
  • An understanding of SEO would be beneficial but not mandatory
