Role: Principal engineer will lead the development team to automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes. Role of Public Finance Manager at eGovernment Foundation

Stakeholder Management: The PFM Consultant will be responsible for engaging with the stakeholders to gather a deep knowledge and understanding of the current policies and processes. S(he) will communicate with state and central government practitioners and bureaucrats to gather state specific information in the public finance domain. S(he) will also engage with experts in the ecosystem to leverage their experience and knowledge in this area. S(he) will also be responsible for articulating the diagnostic and the solution in a manner that is best understandable by the stakeholders.

Domain Expert: The PFM Consultant will serve as the internal subject matter specialist in the public finance area, and collaborate with teams outside the firm and in the state to gather insights on technical, operational and strategic aspects of the domain to aid in designing the platform.

Policy Understanding: The PFM Consultant will understand the current scenario of public finance in the Indian states through gaining knowledge of existing policies and rules and define means of solving it by the platform being developed. This will also include cultivating a set of external relationships to identify state partners and build relationships to advance the work.

Design Thinking: The PFM Consultant will be responsible for engaging with the design thinking partners to discuss, collaborate and arrive at a financial context invariant solution that will be transformed into a platform solving the issues of the public finance domain.

Relevant advanced degree in economics, public policy, finance or a related field preferred. 

Relevant experience in areas like Finance and/or Tax Departments at the state or national level, public finance and public policy to include being in progressively senior level roles

The role of a Product Manager is to take complete ownership of the product, working with cross-functional teams of designers, developers, marketers, policy advocates, and other external and internal stakeholders.
