To thrive in the digital age, governments must master digital systems and technology. eGov Foundation, dedicated to transforming public service delivery through digital infrastructure, partners with various stakeholders to enhance capacity. A key initiative is the National Urban Digital Mission (NUDM), which leverages eGov’s DIGIT platform. From June 6-9, 2023, NUDM hosted a four-day technical training on UPYOG, an open-source platform developed by eGov. The training, which involved over 150 participants, included lectures, coding exercises, and best practices, aiming to bolster the operational capabilities of urban and rural local bodies and ensure sustainable program success.

Catalysing the ecosystem

Recognizing the critical role government and ecosystem partners play in implementing digital solutions, eGov Foundation focuses on building the capacity of implementation partners through continuous training and workshops. Building the capacity of governments and their partners is core to our ethos of ensuring the sustainability of programs which leverage DIGIT.

eGov works with all ecosystem actors through open learning sessions, workshops, webinars and hands-on training to boost co-creation and co-ownership. Further, eGov also helps in bridging policy, digital blueprints and governance structures. Together, the efforts of eGov and the ecosystem enable impact at scale and with speed.
